Dr. Praveen Guntipalli, who was born with a natural inclination towards leadership and enlightenment, has devoted his entire life to the pursuit of excellence in medicine and is American Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Guntipalli is highly interested in quality, protocols, anti-aging, and aesthetic medicine. As a result, Dr. Guntipalli consistently sets high standards for himself and for others in the field.
Dr. Guntipalli completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and has since then built an esteemed medical career. He has served as Medical Director and Chair of Medicine and has led multiple hospital quality committees while designing safety protocols and projects. Additionally, he has trained physicians, residents, and medical students and has received numerous quality awards over his decade-long medical practice. Dr. Guntipalli is protocol-driven and takes great pleasure in training staff to improve patient satisfaction while delivering top-quality and safe medical care.
Dr. Guntipalli’s passion for medical excellence is rivaled only by his love for travel, particularly to Japan. He is also an avid photographer who enjoys documenting his journeys with unique and captivating pictures.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Starting a business from scratch was a challenging journey, which took us three years to go from the idea stage to opening the doors of Sanjiva Medical Spa. It was an arduous task to find the right location and negotiate a lease, and the COVID-19 pandemic made the process even more difficult. The construction and permit process took longer than usual due to the pandemic and supply chain crisis. However, with patience and perseverance, we were able to finally open our doors on November 17, 2022.
As a small business, we rely heavily on the local support, friends, and family. Fortunately, I am blessed to have an amazing network of loved ones who have supported me throughout this journey. Bank7 provided me with a loan and assisted me throughout the process. My goal is to provide top-quality services using state-of-the-art equipment and highly experienced and talented staff, and this is what drove me to establish Sanjiva Medical Spa.
